Amazing Stories, the website – not the magazine, is accepting submissions for flash fiction stories in the categories of Science Fiction and Fantasy with a word count of 250 words to 1600 words – absolutely nothing longer. No reprints.
We pay $25 for an accepted story, upon acceptance, for first worldwide rights and for nonexclusive reprint rights. Additionally, we reserve the right to pay you more money for additional reprinting in themed Daily Science Fiction anthologies.
You’ll get a contract from us, but in short, what it means is that your story will appear on AmazingStories.com and remain archived there. These stories will also be collected in anthologies at some future point. We might even create audiobook readings of individual stories or anthologies.
